Excellent food, good, polite service. Love their pizza and wings. We've only ordered takeout but the interior looks fine.

This review was originally posted on the Kennett Square Community Facebook page and it got removed by the moderators. I hope that the owner of Lilianas reads this and knows that the Kennett Square Community Facebook page is removing good reviews of your restaurant. You may want to look into that. Here is my review for the world so that everyone knows how amazing the chicken wings are at Lilianas: Folks, we need to talk about the gastronomic glory, the taste bud tantalization, the scrumptious, soul-satisfying, finger-lickin' ambrosial delight of Liliana's wings. First of all, as I always like to point out, I'm originally from Delco, where the chicken wing wars wage hot and heavy every day of the week. I've seen people almost coming to blows over wing debates, so I'm well-versed in the main requirements of what wing connoisseurs are looking for. First, the wings have to be meaty. They have to be large. They have to be crispy, but they also have to be juicy. They have to be steamy, but the steam can't impart one iota of softness to the skin. While the skin can't be soft, it also can't be, in any way, hard. At the same time, the crunch should be heard across the room. The wings can't be remotely slimy, but they also can't be remotely dry. The meat should cling to the bone, but it should also release from the bone effortlessly when called upon to do so by human teeth. Think of a yin/yang symbol representing all things present in perfect harmony. The wings have to be reasonably priced (well, maybe moreso in Delco than here in fancy-pants Chesco, but I digress.) And of course, it is not just the wings themselves, but the sauce, that is also of utmost importance. It has to be homemade. It must have the right amount of heat. There must be a perfect ratio of butter to other seasonings. It must cling to every exposed surface area and every nook and wing cranny, but it also can't be too thick. At the same time, it most definitely can't be runny in any way, shape or form. There must be a variety of flavors from which to choose. Well, Neighbors (and travelers to our community), let me tell you something. Lilianas knocks it out of the park on all counts, with no exceptions. We went last night right after the awesome community tree-lighting event in Toughkenamon. This was our first time at Lilianas, so we had no idea what to expect. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Upon opening the menu, I noticed right away that they offer individual wings for $1.50 apiece. This is fantastic because it allows for a lot of variety, and the prices are commensurate with other wing offerings in our area. I wanted to go OG hot, but I also wanted to try Lilianas house sauce, so I ordered two of those and two of the Hot. They came out on separate plates, stacked delicately like in a five-star restaurant, and glistening under a veritable river of each sauce, which pooled and spread out to cover 90% of their eight inch plates. "Uh oh," I thought. "That's way too much sauce. They're going to be soggy." But au contraire! I picked one with the house sauce and crunched into it. The flavor blasted through my taste buds like an exploding rocket and activated the pleasure centers in my brain, releasing a deluge of feel-good chemicals as bountiful as the sauce on the plate. After closing my eyes and practically reenacting Meg Ryan's deli scene in When Harry Met Sally, I calmed down for a couple of minutes to check out what ingredients could create such a reaction. I'm sure the recipe is proprietary, but I do know it's like a combination of a garlic-parmesan wing, a hot wing, and an Italian herb wing all wrapped into one, with a LOT of vinegar. The hot wings were legit hot, also with tons of delicious vinegar flavor. For those who love highly seasoned, uber intense, heavy on the vinegar sauces, both of these sauces should be your go-to picks. I am kicking myself for not ordering the sweet chili and the mild as well. The wings I tried check EVERY box listed above. They are indeed the much-sought-after yin/yang of perfection required by every wing afficionado. As for what initially looked like a river of sauce, when the wings were resting comfortably in my stomach, I actually demanded my mother's leftover pizza crust just so I could sop up the rest of the wing sauces that had been left behind. Are you getting the picture? Run, do not walk, to Lilianas the next time you get a wing craving. It's a wonderful place, and as an added bonus, it's BYOB! Grab some brewskis to bring with, and order up a plate of wings as soon as possible. From a Delco transplant and wing expert: you're welcome.

First time here for lunch and decided to grab a slice of pizza. They had several selections already made such as chicken ranch, mushroom, pepperoni & Hawaiian. They offer bottled drinks or fountain sodas and water. There is plenty of seating inside with tables and chairs and a large tv. The menu has plenty to choose from and I noticed it's BYOB. The pizza was very good, not greasy and the crust was crisp. Can't wait to come again and try the Stromboli!

Now I know pizza is completely subjective, but my opinion is correct and if you disagree you're simply wrong.... Just except it. Liliana's is THE BEST pizza in this land of horrible pizza they call Kennett/Hockessin. The quality of the cheese (obviously Grande) is superior. The quality of the dough is superior. The quality of the sauce is superior, and when they all come together, that equals superior pizza! This is homestyle pizza as it is a little thicker than your traditional New York style, and obviously thinner than that crap from Pats. Everything from the burgers to their soup is superior and made in-house. What I also love is no matter what their fries always stay crispy lol. The staff is AMAZINGLY kind and friendly. Everyone from the owner to the pizza cook has always provided a homey and comfortable experience for me.

I heard great things and was really craving a margarita pizza. I called ahead to take out. I bought a small white margarita and it was delicious! Only $11 and I ended up eating a slice in the car on the way home! Nice staff, service was great! I will be back!

Very clean and accommodating. Staff and service very pleasant. Orfered a cheesesteak and an Italian sub. Enjoyed that both had fresh crisp vegetables. Rolls that were used carried the sandwiches very well. Only suggestion would be add oregano on the Italian sub. While waiting, I got to observe other orders prepared. Can't wait to go back and try the pizza and the cheese fries both looked fantastic!! In short, well worth the experience!

This was a good day to be the Cheesesteak Guy! I got the new garden cheesesteak. It came with Jalapenos. If you like your cheesesteak to have a kick, this is your cheesesteak! It was very well made! Everyone on this cheesesteak played well together. It also had lettuce, tomato and mayo. They were a nice balance to the Jalapenos.

Wow! I am thoroughly impressed! I love a good pizza, and this is the place to go outside of NYC! Initially it looks like a hole in the wall, but those are the best food spots to try... and I was VERY happy about the food. I really wanted a slice of a specialty pizza, but they don't have speciality slices on Saturdays (just full pies). But I got a slice of cheese (to go) and I loved the perfect flavor of the cheese pizza, and the perfect crunch. Everything about the pizza was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try it again (and try the other food options as well). Once Covid restrictions are over and we can go back to indoor dining, this is one of the places I am eager to return to!
